These photographs were taken during our sheltering in place, our lockdown, our staying within our four walls. I had been very nervous about the thought of being ‘locked in’ and yet these days have had their own pulse, have slowed down and leaned into a quiet focus. And out of this little death of freedom, in this moment when everything truly is frozen and still, these photographs were born.
